Nominate EPF Beneficiaries

Remember to nominate your EPF beneficiaries. This is very important. In case something happen to you, your next-of-kin will not have to go tru’ the trouble of claiming your EPF such as slow payment. I’m sure don’t want them to suffer for that since they already suffer so much for losing you.
It is important for you to review your nomination of EPF beneficiaries from time to time to ensure that it’s up to date.
If you do not nominate anyone, your next-of-kin would be required to produce documents, such as Letter of Administration, Letter of Probate or Distribution Order from the relevant authorities to make claims. The process of obtaining these documents would be time consuming and a fee would usually be imposed by the issuing authorities.
Therefore, nominate your beneficiaries now by filling in the KWSP 4 form and submit the completed form to any EPF branch You can get the form ny EPF branch or downloaded from the EPF website at www.kwsp.gov.my.
