CastCity Clique – Part 4 – Topspot

September 18th, 2007 | by lovebell |

For the prawn scammer!
**** For the food!

After Catcity Clique Starbuck, KIA, we went for dinner at Topspot. If you are wondering where this is located, it’s at 6th floor, Permata Carpark. This is one place where Kuchingites like to have seafood but not me. :P

There were so many people and it’s quite difficult to find a place to fit more than 10 of us. So we just grabbed whichever place that can sit this much of people that we came across. We ended up at stall No.10, ABC.

Waiting for our food to arrive.

Midin or Bidin with Belacan. You can only get this dish in Sarawak!

Mixed vegetables.

Butter prawn, this is wet style. There is also dry style. I heard that ABC has the best butter prawn in town and I think it’s quite nice.

Lemon chicken.

“Tek Hum” cooked with curry. You don’t get this all year tru’ It has the season for it.

“O jien” aka Oyster Omelette. This is the crispy type.

BBQ Prawn – RM156 for 2.6KG! Balrdy hell! According to everyone, this is overcharged! We got conned!

This is the what the prawn scammer gave us! He didn’t tell us what kind of prawn they BBQ! Just said that it’s prawn and we were expecting normal prawn, not this kind of prawn! I have no idea which stall this is from, they just went around and ask you want to order BBQ seafood or not!

If you are dining at Topspot next time, please beware of these people. Only order food from the stall where you are sitting and ignore those that come around from other stalls that ask you to order their “specials”! You can read about the prawn scammer here…

That’s the end of CatsCity Clique report. Thanks to Starbuck Coffee and Advertlets for the sponsorship!
